When you seek help for PTSD, Trauma, Anxiety, Addiction, Depression, Harm Reduction for Psychedelic Preparation and Integration, Borderline Personality Disorder, Life Transitions, Suicidality, Self-Harm, Grief and Loss, Relationship Issues, Childhood Issues, and anything else that creates uncertainty in your life, it is important to have certainty in the process of seeking help.

This is what you can expect from us!

1.     Reach out to us via this website, or at info@rmbctherapy.com

2.     Once we receive your contact, someone will reach out to you within 48 hours to set up a free initial consult.

3.     If the services we provide fit for the reason you are seeking therapy and/or counselling, we will send you the necessary forms to begin the intake process.

4.     When the forms are completed and returned, three intake sessions will be booked.  The focus is on gathering more information and clarity, which leads to better treatment outcomes.  Although we plan for three sessions, often times one or two sessions provides everything we need to consult as a team and determine the best appropriate course of treatment.

5.     When this phase is complete, you will receive an appointment to meet with the therapist whose skill set best meets your needs.  You will have the opportunity to discuss things, ask questions, and even interview them, which we strongly encourage!

6.     The treatment plan will be proposed in this session.  This includes the risks and benefits of psychotherapy and/or counselling, as well as an expected time frame you can expect to be in treatment.  This is our first step in collaborating with you as partners in achieving your goals, as it brings us to the next step.

7.     Any changes or modifications you wish to implement in the proposed treatment plan will discussed, explored, and changed where it makes sense.

8.     Treatment begins!
