We all see the world through our unique lens, which can make finding the right therapist and strategy challenging. That's why I believe in designing a personalized plan for each of my clients to help them achieve success. By taking a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, emotions and spirit or self energy, you can be empowered to step into the changes you want in your life.

I have extensive training in both top-down (cognitive) and bottom-up (somatic/body based) psychotherapy approaches. I am also psychedelic friendly and will support you, in a judgement free way, if you choose to use psychedelics in your journey.  Every individual is unique, with their own set of strengths, goals, and challenges. My primary aim is to support you at any stage of your journey.

I believe that the body holds all of our memories and pain – AND – it also holds the key to doors that appear to be closed. In the right conditions, which is my job to ensure, the mind can be trained to rest allowing for restorative processes within your system to occur. This is where the magic and healing happen, and something I have been in awe of since a child.

Once balance is restored, relationships – whether it be with self or others – begin to improve. Restoring connection creates a life of fulfilment and meaning.

I also believe that a holistic approach is crucial in this process. Considering the mind, body, emotions, and spiritual energy, and how it all fits into the greater system of society, ensures that every part of an individual's life harmoniously aligns and functions together. The mind encompasses thought and beliefpatterns; the body holds memory and can manifest sensations that impact our overall health and wellness; emotions can feel intense and have been referred to, by some, the place where the spirit meets the flesh; and spirit or self-energy involves a deeper sense of purpose and inner strength.

I use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) ; Internal Family Systems ( IFS) ; Psychedelic Harm Reduction through Preparation and Integration; Self-Inquiry; Mindfulness Based and Compassion Strategies; other Somatic Based Therapies, including PsychoDrama Body Work; and Spiritual Connection through Expanding Consciousness.

No matter where you are in your personal journey, these psychotherapies and experiential processes can provide the container you need for healing to occur.

In her spare time...

Outside of my work, I love travelling, spending time in nature, being around animals, and learning about the many ways people experience and make sense of the world.

I've always been drawn to places rich in history, culture, and tradition. My Irish roots have given me a special connection to Ireland, its landscapes, folklore, and Celtic history.

My travels have also taken me to India, where I spent time in ashrams learning about mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. They were an opportunity to step away from the usual pace of life and experience these practices within the cultural and spiritual traditions from which they come.

I've also spent time in the Peruvian Amazon, where my curiosity about plants, traditional healing practices, and their place in the history of medicine has led me to study aspects of Shipibo ancestral knowledge and ceremonial traditions. I trained, and continue to train in the shamanic practices within the Shipibo lineage and the traditional ceremonial use of psychoactive plants. I approach these experiences with respect for the people, cultures, and generations of knowledge behind these traditions.

I'm naturally curious and enjoy experiences that challenge what I think I know, invite reflection, and offer a different perspective.

Closer to home, I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, cooking, and being around animals. And like most people, there are a few household chores I'd happily avoid indefinitely—laundry being at the top of my list!
